Please join us for the fifth Massachusetts Open Space Conference on Saturday, April 25th, 2020 from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm at Greenfield Community College in Greenfield, MA.

This statewide event provides a space for folks to connect with fellow conservationists who are members of their town’s Open Space Committee, Conservation Commission, Agricultural Commission, or any other groups interested in protecting and stewarding open space. No specific affiliation is required! All are welcome. Open space includes farms, woods, community gardens, parks, and even privately-owned land that is or could be permanently conserved.

This conference is FREE to attend and includes a complimentary lunch and raffle with a variety of stewardship prizes. A mix of municipal leaders, volunteers, and professional conservationists will share their first-hand experiences through twelve distinct workshops. With workshops covering topics such as How a Community Can Protect Land, Creating Open Space Committees and Keeping Them Alive, and Outreach to Your Friends, Family, and Community, there promises to be something for everyone.

The Massachusetts Open Space Conference is a great opportunity for peer-to-peer learning, networking, and inspiration. If you have further questions, please contact Valerie Cedrone at cedrone@mountgrace.org.
