DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the fifth Massachusetts Open Space Conferenc
 e on Saturday\, April 25th\, 2020 from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm at Greenfield Co
 mmunity College in Greenfield\, MA.\n\nThis statewide event provides a spa
 ce for folks to connect with fellow conservationists who are members of th
 eir town’s Open Space Committee\, Conservation Commission\, Agricultural
  Commission\, or any other groups interested in protecting and stewarding 
 open space. No specific affiliation is required! All are welcome. Open spa
 ce includes farms\, woods\, community gardens\, parks\, and even privately
 -owned land that is or could be permanently conserved.\n\nThis conference 
 is FREE to attend and includes a complimentary lunch and raffle with a v
 ariety of stewardship prizes. A mix of municipal leaders\, volunteers\, an
 d professional conservationists will share their first-hand experiences th
 rough twelve distinct workshops. With workshops covering topics such as Ho
 w a Community Can Protect Land\, Creating Open Space Committees and Keepin
 g Them Alive\, and Outreach to Your Friends\, Family\, and Community\, the
 re promises to be something for everyone.\n\nThe Massachusetts Open Space 
 Conference is a great opportunity for peer-to-peer learning\, networking\,
