Sibley Conservation Area, Westminster, MA

Sibley Conservation area, a 48-acre plot, is a forested piece of land protecting over 500 feet of the very scenic Phillips Brook. The property contains sloped forestland, wetlands, and a cold-water fishery home to native brook trout. The property is managed to protect water quality, wildlife habitat, forest health, and to provide passive recreation opportunities to property users. A trail system has been cut as of 2026 for use by the community. We are grateful to the volunteers who helped cut our trail system. The volunteers include the 2025 Cushing Academy Fisher Day of Service, the 2026 United Way Day of Caring, and NCLT volunteers. 

This property is accessible via the Phillips Brook Conservation Area held by the Town of Westminster and which NCLT assisted to conserve. Sibley Conservation Area trails begin .3 miles from the parking area after crossing over the stone wall separating Phillips Brook Conservation Area and Sibley Conservation Area.
