NCLT’s Response to COVID-19

Updated: March 16, 2020 at 9:20 am

North County Land Trust is closely monitoring the ongoing Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak. As the situation continues to change rapidly, our top priority remains the health, safety, and well-being of our visitors and staff. NCLT conservation areas and trails remain open.

As an appropriate measure to protect the health of  our staff and the community, our offices are closed and our staff will be working remotely.

The Massachusetts Governor has declared a State of Emergency and has requested that all events of 25 people or more be canceled or rescheduled. We will follow the state’s guidelines except where there are local guidelines that recommend a more cautious approach.

Programs and Events

In recognition that gatherings of large crowds might facilitate the spread or risk of exposure to COVID-19, and that we work with vulnerable populations, we have decided to postpone our indoor and outdoor events through April. We will re-assess events upcoming large events scheduled from May forward in April and will update all who have signed up for these events.

We must, regretfully, postpone our upcoming outdoor nature walks and are working with our presenters to reschedule them. Please sign up so we can keep you updated if changes occur.  When using our properties in the upcoming weeks, please follow appropriate guidelines for protecting yourself and others.

For the immediate future: If programs or events that you are registered for are canceled, you will be notified via email. If you’re unsure of the status of the event, please check our website or contact us.
