Monday, April 15th will be our first volunteer work day to establish a trailhead and trails at the newest NCLT conservation area, Monomonac Hill Conservation Area in Winchendon. Families and kids welcome, 14 and under must have a parent accompany them. We hope that you will join us for trail work and a sneak peak of the newest trail in Winchendon!
We will move sticks and debris from the trail, close unused paths, and use loppers to trim back around the trail. Tools and gloves will be provided but feel free to bring your own gear if you prefer. No power tools, please. Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes for outdoor work and the weather.
Snacks and refills for your water bottles will be provided along with an NCLT sticker!
Meeting location is off of Lakeview Drive, Winchendon, at the coordinates 42°41’44.0″N 72°00’33.8″W. Parking on the side of the road is OK, please do not block driveways or flow of travel.
