Join us on an easy paced walk led by Faith Salter, Executive Director, through the woods to visit the human and beaver-made scenic wetlands at The Trustees of Reservations, Farandnear Reservation, Shirley, MA. We will talk a bit about the vital role wetlands play in ecosystems, listen for birdsong, and understand why it’s essential to conserve these unique and fragile habitats. Please remember to dress in layers for the weather. We will try to stay on dry ground, but prepare for some areas of the trail to be muddy. We recommend you bring water and a snack.
