Event Type

Hawks are a majestic thing to witness! We invite you to join Clay Hobart, NCLT’s local bird enthusiast, on Sunday, September 20, as we turn our eyes to the skies in anticipation of seeing the local hawks. We will meet at 11am to meander through some of Wachusett Meadow’s beautiful trails during this guided walk. Fall is a also great time to see many of the other New England birds in their own migration. During the walk, Clay will help us listen, look, and learn more about the birds around us. Bring your binoculars and your hiking shoes!

PLEASE NOTE: Due to COVID-19 safety protocols, advance registration is required. Social distancing and wearing a mask or other face covering are required when distancing isn’t possible. Group size is limited. No pets are allowed at the wildlife sanctuary.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Princeton Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
