Join Richard Joyce, Endangered Species Conservation Biologist at Xerces Society, and Emily Merlino, Director of Land Programs at North County Land Trust, for an evening of viewing these charismatic nighttime creatures at Dwelly Farm Conservation Area. We will walk the fields and trails to look for fireflies, learn about them, and talk about management actions being taken at Dwelly to improve this place they call home.
We will be walking on uneven terrain in the dark so please wear sturdy footwear. We will have some red flashlights to share–if you would like to bring your own light, please bring one with a red light setting or red film over the light. Please, no dogs on this hike.
