Join certified birder Clayton Hobart for a nighttime stroll searching for the elusive Eastern Whip-poor-will. These fascinating birds are rare in Massachusetts, but can best be identified by their distinctive “whip-poor-will” call and tend to be most active after dark when the moon is near full. Nature offers many opportunities but no promises–that being said, this walk is sure to be fun and insightful for birders of all levels.

This walk will happen after dark, so please ensure you are prepared with a red flashlight (we will have some available to borrow) and sturdy shoes for a walk across uneven terrain.
