North County Land Trust is 30!
We are so grateful to our founders who were steadfast in their focus to protect, preserve and promote. And look how far we’ve come: NCLT owns over 1,000 acres of conservation land and holds conservation restrictions on an additional 475 acres.
Many of you remember us when, and many of you are new to our mighty organization. Thank you ALL for your support. Stay tuned for special events and programs, celebrations and conservation stories, and so much more. We kick off this month with the launch of our anniversary logo. We look forward to seeing you throughout the year and continuing to partner on land protection.
Recreational Use Guidelines
We’re thrilled to see life getting back to a new normal. To ensure the safety of our staff and visitors, please follow these guidelines when visiting our properties as of May 29, 2021:
- On trails, walkers and hikers should move aside and leave room for others to pass, and cyclists and runners should alert other users when approaching and wait for others to step aside before passing.
- Keeping dogs on a leash.
- For all NCLT organized group hikes, nature walk programs, and land stewardship activities, prior registration is required.
- If you are attending an event, please check your confirmation email for specific instructions.
- Masks are optional outdoors for events and volunteer activities, but masks are still recommended for indoor events for those unvaccinated. We recommend having a mask on hand to be prepared.
