North County Land Trust Seeks Two Terracorps Service Members

North County Land Trust (NCLT) is seeking two motivated individuals to join their team as part of the TerraCorps program. TerraCorps is an AmeriCorps affiliated start-up environmental non-profit organization that fosters a network of people and nonprofits committed to community land ownership, access, and stewardship. NCLT, a TerraCorps service site, is interviewing candidates for a Land Conservation Coordinator (LCC) and a Community Engagement Coordinator (CEC).

The Land Conservation Coordinator will work with the Director of Land Protection, working with volunteers, providing environmental outreach, and completing three capacity building projects. Potential projects include regional conservation check-ins and landowner outreach programs.

The Community Engagement Coordinator will collaborate with the Director of Advancement, working with volunteers, providing environmental outreach programming, and completing three capacity building projects. Projects may involve creating partnerships with nature-based affinity groups, developing blogs or podcasts, and designing a Volunteer Ambassador program.

Applicants are invited to apply through the TerraCorps online application. The detailed position description can be found at this link.

Joining NCLT through TerraCorps offers an opportunity to contribute to community-based land conservation. These positions provide valuable experience and mentorship for individuals passionate about environmental stewardship, while supporting NCLT’s growth and success.
