Kirby Conservation Area is the lucky recipient of North County Land Trust’s most recent Eagle Scout project. Ryan Rivard has almost completed building a new trail that climbs to the highest point of the property. Working with fellow scouts and family members, Ryan has cleared the trail and has almost finished blazing it with yellow triangles. The finishing touch will be the trail name signs that Ryan will make and install himself. The trail will be named Helen’s High Way after Helen Kirby who donated the land to NCLT.
Thank you, Ryan, for an excellent addition to the Kirby Conservation Area trail system!
