North County Land Trust has opened up new volunteer opportunities and we are looking for passionate volunteers to help us achieve our conservation and education mission! Please check out the descriptions below for more information.
Conservation Area Monitor
We are looking for long term volunteers who are interested in monitoring our conservation land and trails. The monitor would be responsible for walking all the trails at one of our conservation areas monthly, and reporting back about trail conditions. The conservation area monitor is not responsible for trail work, but instead helps us be more responsive to trail issues by letting us know about trail conditions. We are looking for trail monitors for our conservation areas in Gardner, Fitchburg, Lunenburg, Princeton, Templeton, Ashburnham, and Hubbardston. Community Events Volunteer
We are looking for volunteers who can represent NCLT at festivals, events, and markets throughout the spring, summer, and fall. This volunteer would help us by tabling to get the word out about NCLT. This is perfect for a friendly, outgoing individual who is excited about our mission and about sharing that with others. The time commitment varies, and we would have volunteers sign up for whatever events/shifts they can be available for. These events are across our region. Trail Volunteer
Do you want to be part of our trail crew? We are looking for people to help us at organized trail events or on smaller trail projects.
