North County Land Trust and Backcountry Hunters and Anglers (BHA) are teaming up to pull glossy buckthorn from Rome Conservation Area! Rome is a property well loved for hunting during the deer season, what better place to work together with folks from BHA to improve habitat together. Join us to learn more about BHA or NCLT programs and help us remove invasive glossy buckthorn.
We will depart the parking area a few minutes past 9am and plan to wrap up by 12p, if you need to leave early, no worries, but if you arrive late you may not be able to find us easily.
Please wear clothes and shoes for outdoor work and weather, bring sunscreen and bug spray. We will provide water to refill your bottles, please bring your own bottle. Snacks will also be provided.
