NCLT is pleased to bring author, ethnographer, and mycologist Lawrence Millman to Princeton for a walk and talk all about fungi. Lawrence has studied fungi all over the world including Bermuda, Labrador, Iceland, Costa Rica and right here in New England. He has been a featured speaker at Harvard, Cornell, BBC Radio, NPR, and many more. Delve into the world of fungi on a moderate two-hour hike at Zins Conservation Area on June 16th while Lawrence explains the natural history of species native to New England and their importance to forest ecosystems. All are welcome to attend this free event, however this walk is recommended for ages 16+ due to the level and detail of content. This walk will not include edible fungi. From Thompson Road, turn onto Rhodes Road and continue for 0.8 miles. Park on the side of the road by the Zins property sign.
