ASHBY WMA CLEANUP

Celebrate your public lands! Join MassWildlife and others in the outdoor community for a day of service and fun. Wear sturdy shoes or boots and bring work gloves if you have them. The cleanup is rain or shine, please dress for the weather.
Meet at Ashby Wildlife Management Area at 9:45
Meet at the parking lot at the top of Bennett Road. Parking is limited, please carpool if possible. Volunteers may walk 0.7 mi to the cleanup site or take the shuttle .
Cleanup from 10 a.m.- Noon – The cleanup will take place at the end of Watatic Mountain Road.
Picnic Lunch at the Main Parking Area at Noon Gather for a cookout; hamburgers, hot dogs, fruit, water and other lunch items will be provided .
Archery Lesson and Demonstration from Noon 1 p.m. – Learn how to shoot a bow under the guidance of an archery instructor.
Tour Ashby WMA and Longview Conservation Area from 1 p.m – 2 p.m. – Caravan over to the new Ashby WMA parcel and Longview property at 66 Hardy Rd. for a guided tour by Anna Wilkins from North County Land Trust.
