The newest NCLT trail was cut recently at Crocker Conservation Area in Fitchburg! Back in early May a small crew of 2 board members, Mary Cringan & Betty Reid, a trail monitor, Ken Schafer, and NCLT employees, Jassy Bratko & Emily Merlino, cut an alternate trail section off of Big’s Bushwhack (while practicing social distancing). This new trail, Big’s Switchback, gives a less steep option to get from the Lower Loop end of Big’s Bushwhack up to Overlook Trail. Check out the new trail for yourself next time you’re at Crocker!
