Join us from 9am-12:30pm Monday-Wednesday for four weeks this summer to participate in our Wild Explorer’s summer program at Flat Rock Wildlife Sanctuary in Fitchburg, MA. This program is a collaboration between Mass Audubon, North County Land Trust (NCLT) and Just Understand My Potential (JUMP).

Discover the wonders of nature and increase your curiosity about what lives in the green spaces around Fitchburg and what we can do to protect those spaces. Each day includes learning through hands-on science and nature-based activities, crafts, stories, and hikes. Each week will have a unique theme including nature journaling, wild plants, backyard wildlife, and water and conservation. Register for one, some, or all four weeks. Cost to attend is $10 per child, per session. Scholarships are available.

Family sessions (kids age 6-14 with an adult) will be held Tuesdays 9:00 am–12:30 pm including the following dates and themes:
July 11 • Nature Journaling
July 18 • Wild Plants
July 25 • Backyard Wildlife
August 1 • Wonders of Water

Public transportation on MART bus 6 route drops off at Burbank campus at 8:55AM and leaves the campus at 1PM. Find the schedule at www.mrta.us

Classes and activities are held outdoors. If extreme weather is forecast, the program will be cancelled. Health forms are required for drop-off participants. Families are welcome to remain on site. Program participants should bring a water bottle, snacks will be provided.
