SUMMARY:Quarry Lane Pocket Park Planting - Session 1
DESCRIPTION:Join us to plant native bushes and trees at Quarry Lane Pocket 
 Park and Community Garden!\n\nNorth County Land Trust has been funded thro
 ugh the Dream it Create it grant to create a pocket park at 5 Quarry Lane 
 in Fitchburg.  We have worked closely with Busy Bees Preschool and Growin
 g Places to establish a community garden and worked with an Eagle Scout to
  build a nature loop trail on the back half of the property and now are ab
 le to create an inviting pocket park at the front of this land.\n\nWhen fi
 nished\, the park will include native trees\, bushes\, and perennials\, a 
 painted rock garden\, sitting spots\, and nature-based play opportunities 
 for all to enjoy.  We have an order of native bushes and trees arriving s
 oon and need your help to dig holes and plant! Please bring a shovel if yo
 u have one.\n\nCome to dig and plant\, stay for PIZZA! Please register to 
 let us know to expect you\, this will make sure there is pizza for everyon
 e!\n\nIf you aren't able to join for session 1\, please consider joining f
 or session 2 from 5-7:30pm\, or join in for both if you can.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\
 nThis project is funded by MassDevelopment/TDI and the Barr Foundation.  
 This program is one component of a broader "TDI Creative Cities" initiativ
 e to boost arts-based economic development.
