SUMMARY:Planting Day at Dwelly Farm Conservation Area
DESCRIPTION:Join us to plant native pollinators at Dwelly!\n\nAs part of ou
 r ongoing work to create rich native habitat at Dwelly Farm Conservation A
 rea we have made great efforts to remove invasive plants and plant and pro
 mote growth of native plants at the property.  This year our Invasive Era
 sers group has focused on pulling glossy buckthorn at the site and have ma
 de consistent progress towards our goals.  We have also been caring for n
 ative pollinator seedlings at our office since April\, planted by Cushing 
 Academy volunteers at their day of service.\n\nAs fall is right around the
  corner and the growing season is coming to an end\, it is time to plan fo
 r wrapping up the season - this means planting! We will plant wild bergamo
 t and showy tick trefoil that was started from seed this spring.  We hope
  you'll come to help install these native plants in the pollinator field a
 nd contribute to this great\, ongoing project.\n\nWe will be digging holes
  and installing plants\, please wear clothes and shoes for outdoor work an
 d predicted weather.  We will have some gloves and shovels to use\, but f
 eel free to bring your own if you prefer.
