SUMMARY:Nature Journaling Watercolor Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join this watercolor workshop with Margaret McCandless. Bring y
 our willingness to try painting while observing outdoors scenes and creatu
 res\, and bring a watercolor paper journal with you. We'll provide paints\
 , brushes\, and a wealth of tips and skills for using these. You need not 
 have any watercolor painting experience.\n\nPlan to think as a citizen sci
 entist\, while you build your art skills. Through the centuries\, observan
 t people outdoors have built a wealth of knowledge about birds\, migration
 \, spider webs\, weather\, and much more. Some of our online resources tod
 ay depend upon citizen scientists contributing notes after a walk in natur
 e. We'll be discussing some of these options\, along with ways that we can
  make watercolor pictures to remind us of details we've seen.\n\n    Bri
 ng a watercolor journal or notebook:\n\n 	Choose a notebook size that you 
 like.\n 	Spiral binding is recommended. Other formats are fine\, too.\n 	W
 atercolor paper in bookmark sizes will be available at the workshop\, for 
 quick technique-samplers.\n\nThis event is fully booked. If you would like
