 \n\nA collaboration between Fitchburg State University and North County La
 nd Trust\n\nJoin us at 1 PM on March 1st for an afternoon of thought-provo
 king talks\, panel discussions\, and idea exchange with area leaders on th
 e response to the climate crisis in north central Massachusetts. Stick aro
 und for mingling and engaging discussions starting at 3 PM. Representative
 s from local organizations addressing environmental issues in north centra
 l Massachusetts will be available to share information about their initiat
 ives and efforts. Hosted at Fitchburg State University and organized in co
 njunction with North County Land Trust\, this event is for students\, citi
 zens\, community leaders\, and professionals who are interested in explori
 ng the intersection of the natural world and human societies.\n\nThe missi
 on of this symposium is to explore different ways in which writers\, artis
 ts\, and musicians can recalibrate our relationship to nature and connect 
 us to a more sustainable path moving forward. We are bringing together New
  England creators in different fields of cultural production to discuss st
 rategies\, collaborations\, obstacles\, and how to make hopeful action pos
 sible in the face of crisis. (more information)\n\nIn conjunction with thi
 s symposium\, artwork from each artist will be on display in the Hammond G
 allery at Fitchburg State University starting on January 14 until March 1.
 \n\nThis program is made possible and sponsored by Fitchburg State Univers
 ity\, North County Land Trust\, as well as being funded in part by grants 
 from Freedom's Way National Heritage Area and the Mass Cultural Council\,
