SUMMARY:Keyes Sandplain Grassland Field Study Class at Native Plant Trust
DESCRIPTION:Observe the early impacts of a habitat restoration project at t
 he Ebenezer Keyes Conservation Area in Gardner\, MA with conservation staf
 f from North County Land Trust. The goal of this project is to restore eco
 logical value\, improve biodiversity\, and increase climate resiliency to 
 a site disturbed by failed development projects. This habitat type is glob
 ally rare and supports multiple species on the Massachusetts list of speci
 es of special concern. Participants in this field study will have the oppo
 rtunity to practice techniques for removing invasive species\, and to obse
 rve preliminary growth of little bluestem (Schizachyrium scoparium)\, amon
