 0a on October 22nd for a great opportunity to learn about invasive plants 
 from Fitchburg State University professor Chris Picone and get some hands 
 on experience removing them.  We will take some time to look around the p
 roperty and identify invasive plants\, Chris will help us to learn key ide
 ntifiers and develop a keen eye for these unwanted invaders.  Then we wil
 l use what we've learned to remove some of these invasive plants from the 
 Longview Conservation Area property.\n\nVolunteers from our bi-weekly Inva
 sive Erasers group\, students from Fitchburg State University and from Mou
 nt Wachusett Community College\, and community members will all join in to
  learn along with us.\n\nWe hope you will join us to learn a little and ha
 ve some fun outdoors at this beautiful property at the foot of Mt. Watatic
 .  We will have gloves and tools available\, but if you have some favorit
 e gear feel free to bring it.  Please dress for the weather and "yard wor
 k" style activity.\n\nPlease register to let us know you'll be joining\, w
 e will bring some fall treats to share and want to make sure we have enoug
 h!\n\nRain date Sunday\, October 22.  We will notify registrants by email
  and on social media if the event will be moved to the rain date.
