SUMMARY:Introduction to Day Hiking for Beginners
DESCRIPTION:Have you been longing to spend more time outside? Would you lov
 e to start hiking but you don't know where to start? In this workshop you 
 will learn how to find local hikes and how to be prepared for your hike by
  knowing what to bring and what to research beforehand. Have your question
 s answered by a Fitchburg local with a degree in Outdoor Education &amp\; 
 Leadership who is also a certified Wilderness First Responder and an instr
 uctor for the Appalachian Mountain Club! This program is presented with pa
 rtner organization\, Just Understand My Potential (JUMP).\n\nRecommended f
 or ages 12 and up but please reach out if you have a younger child you’d
  like to have attend – we also welcome parents who don’t have child ca
 re to bring their children with them if needed\, just let us know.  Pleas
 e note that the classroom is up a flight of stairs\, unfortunately there i
