DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\nPlease note this event is fully booked.\n\nNorth Cou
 nty Land Trust’s Dwelly Farm Conservation Area has been a years long hab
 itat improvement project to create a native haven for flora and fauna in T
 empleton\, MA.  The goal from the start has been to create an improved ha
 bitat for native plants and animals on what once was a dairy farm\, left a
 lone to grow a hearty crop of invasive glossy buckthorn and poor quality p
 ine. For the last 4 years focus has been on removing invasives and plantin
 g native wildflowers\, bushes\, and trees to bolster native habitat across
  the property. Emily Merlino\, Stewardship Manager for NCLT will discuss w
 hat has been done to improve the property and what has been successful so 
 far.  She will be joined by Tom Ashton\, a trained forester and board mem
 ber of Worcester County Conservation District\, who will also provide some
  insight into the forest health and share a forestry perspective to add to
  the pollinator habitat and invasive removal aspects of the walk.\n\nPleas
 e wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather.  Parking is ava
 ilable in the trailhead lot as well as the roadside on the kiosk side of t
